WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID ABOUT ME...

Leon Woodcock (Student welfare, Cadbury College, Birmingham 2026)

"Dave delivered thought-provoking sessions on misogynistic behaviour, right-wing propaganda and it's links to Prevent/Extremism. Dave's professionality and calm demeanor helped convey these important messages to students in an understandable way. Students were given time to talk to one another and feedback throughout the session which led to informative discussions. We look forward to welcoming Dave back next year"

Parent feedback (Uppingham College, 2026)

Just wanted to message to say a massive thank you. My son is at UCC Y11 and he said you were inspirational. He said you didn't preach or lecture but you were engaging & fascinating and you have inspired him to follow a path into counter terrorism. It's not easy to engage teenagers, so well done to you, he thoroughly enjoyed your session

Angela Tombs (Assistant Principal, Sandwell College, 2026)

Dave worked with us for the week adapting to different levels of learners including SEND and ESOL- he adapted his talks and managed to get his message across with patience and humour.

David Brownsword (Principal, Jubilee Academy, Walsall)

I would like to put on record how impressed the children and staff of Jubilee Academy were with David Chadwick’s brilliant and thought provoking sessions on Internet Safety and Radicalisation. David delivered his programme to all of our Key Stage 2 classes. It is fair to say rarely have we had such unanimous positive feedback from our children.

All of the activities challenged our children’s thinking on very serious issues. The activities were well planned, with clear explanations and most importantly were age appropriate. They were also delivered in a fun way. Seldom have I seen our children so enthused. I actually had a posse of Year 6 children who came to see me to ask if David can come back.

I would quite happily buy David in every year to work with our children. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

Ann Kendrick (Principal, Emmanuel School, Walsall, 2025)

Dave Chadwick (The Prevent Guy) has been visiting Emmanuel School for over 8 years. We always get brilliant feedback from our pupils about how his topics are relevant, interesting and thought provoking. He has a way of tackling hard hitting topics without scaring the pupils. Instead, he encourages them to be better people in order to ensure that the world around them is not only a safer but a better place.

Our pupils have various safeguarding talks during the academic year but they always say that Dave's talks are the very best. Dave's visit on 8th May was no different. He was again engaging and topical with his talks on misogyny and gave our pupils a lot of food for thought. As a Christian school, it is important that any talks given to the pupils support our values and Dave's talk definitely did this. Our pupils are very much looking forward to his next visit!

Karen Griffiths (Class Teacher, 2017)

I would like to express my grateful thanks for the visit by Dave to my class on Tuesday 23rd May - the day following the dreadful incident in Manchester. All of my class knew what had happened but he dealt with the children's questions about the event very carefully and tactfully - being factual but not putting too much emphasis on the 'awfulness' of the event.

Following this, he went on to his prepared presentation about Radicalisation which was delivered at such a level as to allow all children in the class, including those with SEND, to be included in the discussions.

His visit was very worthwhile and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Social Worker (Stoke on Trent, 2025)

My confidence in understanding what information s needed for a Prevent referral, and how to access the information about what might indicate a low, medium or high level of risk, is far greater having completed this training

Debbie Manby (Safeguarding Lead, 2018)

I would like to take this opportunity to provide feedback for the above training sessions. Dave provided tailored training sessions for the whole school.  We found the subject matter to be very relevant to our setting and current media issues.  The sessions were very well delivered by Dave who was clear and friendly in his persona. He also pitched the material in an appropriate way using suitable teaching materials. The children were thoroughly engaged during the sessions and had nothing but positive things to say afterwards. To add, Dave was able to highlight a potential safeguarding issue and forwarded this to the school to investigate. Thorough in every way.

So successful were the sessions that I have asked Dave if he will return at the start of the new academic year to deliver again to our new Year 3 pupils.

I feel that the work carried out by Dave was much more than useful and I would not hesitate in recommending the sessions to any school.
